For performers
The site is your landlord. It owns the traffic, the wallet, and often the recording. You own the hours you sit in front of the camera and the risk if a room leaks.
Before the first broadcast
- Read the current payout page, not last year’s forum thread. Payouts.
- Confirm how they verify age and what documents they store. Rules and age checks.
- Look at a blank wall. Remove mail, diplomas, and window views. Device privacy.
- Use a bank or payout account that is not your only household account.
How the money usually works
Viewers buy tokens. They tip or start a private. The site keeps a share — often a large one — then releases the rest on a schedule. A $1 tip is not $1 in your pocket. If a page will not say the split in writing, treat that as a no.
Fan clubs and extras can look like “passive income.” They are still on the same platform rules. Read the fan club entry before you promise weekly videos you cannot legally host somewhere else.
The room
A clear tip menu reduces arguments. Exclusive vs regular private matters if the site sells spy mode. Say in the bio whether you allow it.
What people get wrong
They compare advertised “up to 80%” with take-home pay. The useful number is what landed in the payout account last month divided by hours online. That includes slow days.
They also broadcast in a room that identifies them — a street sign in the window, a uniform on a chair — and then wonder how a clip spread. The safety checklist is dull. It is cheaper than a leak.
