Spy Mode
Definition
Spy mode (or “spy show”) is a feature on some platforms that allows a viewer to watch an ongoing private show without the performer being notified of their presence. The spy viewer typically pays a rate set by the platform or performer, often lower than the full private rate.
Why It Matters
Spy mode changes the exclusivity assumption of a private show. Both performers and the original private viewer should understand whether the platform supports this feature and under what terms.
